They have been recommended to me as car electrical problems specialists. I needed to do diagnostic, because my car died and had to be jumped to restart, also my remote start didn't work during the past year. They replaced the battery, corroded battery cable and connector. It resolved the problem. I even got a ride to work while they have waited for the parts and worked on my car. I had a good experience there and I would definitely recommend Old Ox Tire & Auto as a good specialists.

I am new to the Virginia area. So when my car needed service, I was a little nervous however, the Owner Allen and his crew are extremely professional. I will highly recommend this company for service. I will be returning for all my vehicle service needs. Five Star company.

I have been very pleased with Old Ox Tire and Auto. Each time I have taken my car in they are pleasant and courteous. The work has been done well at a reasonable cost. They are honest about what needs to be down. Unlike many other places they don’t give me a long list of other things to repair each time I go in that I doubt needed repairing. But each time my car is returned to me in a reasonable amount of time, clean and running well!

I’d rate Old Ox 6 stars if the system would let me. Was sent here by another shop because I have a 40-yr-old car that split a (pre-ethanol) fuel hose that has banjo fittings on both ends. Old Ox had a new hose fabricated using the original fittings and the car was back on the road in a day AND arranged to let me retrieve the car on Saturday!

Found this shop which was highly recommended through s local community group, RHOLC. Must say they did not disappoint as the entire process was quick and pleasant from the lovely woman at the front desk who took my information to the highly skilled and knowledgeable mechanic Woody who was able to quickly diagnosis the issue with the AC in my wife’s Chrysler Pacifica. It was a much larger issue than I had initially thought but they got the parts in next day and called to schedule the repair accommodating me and my families busy schedules. Picked it up and everything was working perfectly and although they had to remove the entire dash to complete the repair it looked as though nothing had been touched and the vehicle seemed cleaner than when I had dropped it off. So overall extremely satisfied with the service and that’s not even considering the hundreds of dollars they saved me compared to the dealership. Actually got a quote for tires on another vehicle while I was there and will be going back for those and an alignment in the coming weeks. Old Ox has officially become the shop me and my family will be going to for all of our vehicle maintenance and repairs.
